Before establishing Silver Films, Byvald founded Silverosa Film in 2006, producing and co-producing more than 20 films. These works have been selected and awarded at numerous international film festivals and distributed worldwide. She has twice produced films that received the Swedish Academy Award (Guldbagge) — Maggie vaknar på balkongen and Dance Music Now. Among the directors she has collaborated with are Ester Martin Bergsmark & Mark Hammarberg, David Liljemark & Lukas Moodysson, Saga Gärde, Martina Hoogland Ivanow, Lisa Partby, Johan Jan Jonason, Anu Kuivalainen, Youlian Tabakov, Ninja Thyberg, Niklas Holmgren, Ciaran Cassidy, Sara Klara Hellström, Ada Bligaard Søby and Steven Doughton.
