Director and cartoonist David Liljemark sets out to make contact with Bernhard Redenstedt — a mysterious 82-year-old widower who has spent years posting small, hand-written notes around the streets of Lund. Fascinated by these strange messages, David becomes increasingly curious about the solitary man behind them.
But while Bernhard’s notes are easy to find, the man himself is not. As David searches for him, Bernhard faces eviction from his municipal landlord. When the moment of crisis arrives, David is the only one there for him — and their encounter takes an unexpected turn.
